Inspiration

I want to prove two things with this. One: Derek Landy is a great inspiration for a lot of things and Two: Writers can get inspiration from anything. Anything at all. In Mortal Coil there is a line that says, "Time did what time did, it passed." Now, here is a poem inspired on that line.

Time did what time does
It passed

And I lost myself
Pieces of me fell away
I couldn't find them

My heart broke
Once, Twice and again
Each time it hurt more

I felt forever lost
In time
Just a memory

Never coming back
Till the end
When we all meet

Till then I'm stuck
Never moving, never changing
Lost in time


I was gone but
Time did what time does
It passed
